Public. I like it.
Despite being smaller then the average year 5 (8 or 9) while in year 7 (11 or 12), I've managed to make friends with everyone. I know everyone's homophobic but it's life. My mum was fired just for being a woman.
Get over it.

Public, and what really ticks me off about my school is how everyone does these "cereal games" where they do something painful to you until you guess their favorite cereal or whatever, and then the majority of the people in my school(its 7-8) cant divide 86 by 8.6 and then start begging me for every answer.

I go to a school that's part homeschool, part public school. I have one day of "Workshops" which are things you get to choose. I chose writing, musical theater, ceramics, and "travel the globe" which is learning about different places in the world. :3

For some schools located near the U.S.-Mexico border, there are buses that drive students from Mexico to the U.S. to learn in U.S. schools.

Ahh. But the way he said it he made it sound like a negative thing.

Ah, the internet, it's sometimes hard to determine the exact feelings and intentions of a person over a computer screen. It almost sounded negative to me, too, but I wasn't sure since buses do drive Mexican students over the border to learn in the U.S.
What makes it hard to tell is that the issue itself is a touchy one in American-Mexican politics. But I'd rather not delve into that here (any further discussion about it is better handled in a political-based forum offsite from Scratch).

Yes, the way I said it might have sounded negative and normally I would try to avoid saying it like that but my great-grandpa died recently so I wasn't really thinking about it as I wrote it, so I think we should just drop it and go back on topic.

Public schooled and it SUCKS.
The most part of the boys in my class call everyone who does something slightly odd a "Gaylord" which is terribly, terribly offensive.
The boys focus in nothing but sports and insulting people with the term "Gaylord"
I am constantly picked on for being the most intelligent and am actually USED by them as an answer machine, I don't get anything for helping them answer ridiculously easy questions.
I would do ANYTHING to be homeschooled, as my life in public school is miserable and most every boy is somewhat homophobic.
Kind of what happens to me, but I only help them when the teacher makes me help them. Any other time, I say, "Figure it out yourself." And then I walk away.
(I'm really rude )

Not sure what you'd call my school
It's selective but free.
There aren't really any major problems at my school. Though there is this girl in my form and there always seems to be SOMETHING wrong.

Pretty much like me
Except I literally only say like, three sentences an hourI can get talkative if it's a subject I'm interested in.
My school has some cool-girl cliques and cool-boy cliques. I don't fit in with them. I'm just a kinda nerdy tomboy girl.Me too!
If it's a subject like football (soccer) or maths (okay, I admit it: I like maths ) then I could literally talk for about half an hour without stopping
Eventually someone just yells "shut up!" though
i like maths. Nothing wrong with it.

I would say the kids in my Public school are strange but I believe they're acting like any other kids going through puberty.

I've found a lot of people I meet are just casually homophobic. For instance, some other people were talking about politics (no clue why, especially since this was back when I was in SIXTH GRADE) and I asked this girl what party she belonged to. She said "Republican, because democrats support gay [something, forget what]." I left. It's probably because (I hope), well, she was the more sheltered type.

I tend to find several Republican beliefs idiotic but then I decided we don't even need parties and I'm going to be screwed when I'm voting age because I want to choose the pieces I believe, not everything my group does.
But um school. All male science class is interesting/inappropriate. (Naughty jokes are a game even the teacher can play!)

I go to a public school in Germany. The pupils doesn't act bad or so, because it's not a school for everyone, but for people who have grades that are good enough.
