The Best Project on the Website

Ok, I think everyone knows about the top loved list but I don't think it does a good job of showing quality projects. So I am wondering what do you consider to be the best project on this site and why? Personally I like projects that look professionally made which is why I think that Archery Champion is the best project on the site because of its professional look & feel.

Re: The Best Project on the Website

I don't know what to answer.

Maybe we could make some sort of contest, using the best ScratchRs as judges? Just a thought.

No I don't really want a definitive best project. Just the best project in your own personal view and say why you like it.

Re: The Best Project on the Website

There is one project on this site that I love so much that I'm going to remake it.

I don't think anyone else will like it though.  So, no front page for my next project... but, I don't care.  I only write games for myself.  tongue

I like games with good quality and a cool concept, my favorite would be Shrapnel, by m44.

Re: The Best Project on the Website

some good games are simple*. For example, look at the 3d block builder. I could make that and it's very good. Look at the mario kart timetrial (no offense here thesaint but there are better projects) it's ok but i couldn't make it.

The meat and potatoes at the end of the day is the simple game 3d block builder

*This doesn't always apply. super smash scratch that you're making archmage will be very good.

Re: The Best Project on the Website

No one has seen all of the projects on the website (though Paddle2See probably comes closest; I see his comments everywhere ). Add the fact that everyone has a different opinion and finding the best project is as near to impossible as can be.

Re: The Best Project on the Website

I agree with archmage in that projects have to have everything good. I don't care how good you programmed if there are no good graphics(like most of mine, lol) its not the best, and vice versa. I need good programming, graphics, smoothness, and just an all-around great feel to the game. Archery Champion is a very good example.

Dear Scratch Users,
I'm done with scratch, or at least making projects. I have made one last big game, thats both fun and teaches a lesson about water. It'd mean a lot if you gave me feedback.                              http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/bosox397/569201

Well, I did it!  And, it is the best game on the scratch web site!

And, of course, no one but me likes it.

I don't care.  I still play this game dozens of times per day.  tongue
