It's just that there was this kid on TV, he was the same age as me, and he knows how to make APPS. Sure, I know how to make servers and scratch games, and I've also created a programming language, but he knows how to make apps! He actually wrote them. I just feel... like I don't feel that important.
discuss how there is ALWAYS someone better than you at something.

Just apply yourself. If you work at something, you can do it. I'm programming my first real game in Javascript using Processing right now. (BTW if you buy some thing with Stencyl, you can make iOS apps)

Have you actually tried to make apps?

Yes and I'm jealous because my friend is getting paid 88 dollars an hour to be an EXTRA in a movie.
But she's been paid more.
When she was 7, she got paid 700$ to be in a MAGAZINE.
And she kept all her money. Her parents didn't take a CENT.

I don't know half the stuff you know. So you shouldn't be complaining.

We get it
He created a "freaking" programming language
That is obviously, as he stated, not his goal though. It may be quite an accomplishment, but he has higher hopes and we should respect that
He doesn't have to throw in the towel just because he's made one thing

I once had a dream. In it, there was this girl. She had perfect hair, a perfect body, and a snarky yet kind personality, which I find attractive.. I was about to propose to this perfect girl until I realized exactly who it was.
Lesson: you may be right about that, but I am still an awesome person.
