If we have Young Link, I could try to be him, I always try to imitate his sounds when I'm not playing!

Alright, I'll remember if you if there will be Young Link.

To all staff members - I guess we're going with the plot of the first Legend of Zelda right now. If we can't come up with another story by January 14th, then we will go with the plot of the first LoZ.

I hope to make my idea possible; more details are mainly in the job descriptions below.  big_smile

Director: All4one (The person who will oversee the whole production and take care of all things that need to be taken care of.)

Artist #1: bananaman114 (Now, this job is very critical. I'm looking for experienced artists; at least ones that can make frame-changing look smooth, and good shading, too. I'm hoping for the art in this movie to be really revolutionary for Scratch.)

Artist #2: (Not hiring people in this area at the moment.) (If Artist #1 feels they need an extra hand helping them out, then I will start hiring for an Artist #2. If you wish to be Artist #2, you must have all the requirements that are mandatory for Artist #1.)

Main Story Writer: maxdoss (This is not the person who writes the script. Rather, this is the person who comes up with the main plot of the movie. Since I'm not that experienced with Zelda storylines, I would prefer if somebody else would take this job. I need somebody who is very experienced with at least most of the storylines in the Zelda games. When submitting, please come up with the main idea, how it begins, what happens in the middle, and what happens at the end.)

Script Writer #1: All4one (Self-explanatory.  tongue )

Script Writer #2: GameGuy64 (Self-explanatory.  tongue )

Script Writer #3: (n/a) (Self explanatory.  tongue )

Programming: (This is the person who will put everything together in a Scratch project, and, therefore, be the poster of the project. Must be an advanced Scratch programmer, and know how to program smooth Scratch animations.)

Voice Actors: (Once we come up with all the characters, I will start holding auditions for voice actors.)

yeah, i'm like half familiar with Zelda, but i'm GREAT at writing. hey, you could even ask me to write some great story for you right now just to see my talent (i have like 5 ideas for stories that are on my mind at a time  big_smile  ) ok, i might have just sounded rude, but i'll type somthing up on my account and post a "link"(get it? i'm not very good at jokes though) here

OK. I know the plot of that, it's a generic Zelda storyline.

Sound pretty cool. I don't have that much experience with Zelda though (I don't think I have even ever played one of the games), but I am good at writing scripts for stuff. I could also be a voice actor, but my voice is really deep.  tongue

Re: The Legend of Zelda (A Revolutionary Scratch Movie)

I had an idea of a storyline/plotline. We (the viewer) find out how Link goes to Kokiri Forest and both Link and Zelda become children. I thought of this because of being confused by the fact that SS is a prequel to OoT despite them being children in the beggining. This is just a suggestion, I do think an enhanced version of the original Zelda story line.

Re: The Legend of Zelda (A Revolutionary Scratch Movie)

I'm considering if I should/could participate in this.
If this is 8-bit pixel art, I could be an artist.
Or, I could work as a script writer, as I've written quite a few plays for annual school events... even though this might be different from 'em.

But you know, Zelda has one of the most screwed up timelines in video game history.
It'll be hard to set up the perfect setting, unless we manufacture space and time and create an 'alternate Link' for the umpteenth time.

Just throwing it out there.

Well, the plot we seem to be working with right now is the plot of the first LoZ, so the timeline isn't much of a problem.

We already have the maximum amount of script writers right now. Sorry.  sad

However, if there are ever any 8-bit segements in the project, then I'll consider you for the role of the pixel artist.

Re: The Legend of Zelda (A Revolutionary Scratch Movie)

Thanks. I'd really appreciate it.  smile
I suggest having some 8-bit segments in chase scenes, like when Link is running away from an evil force and needs to alter dimensions to escape.
Just my suggestion, again.  smile

I think Ganon's voice is deep.

Alright, it's January 14th, so we're working on the plot of the first Legend of Zelda. To all script-writers, if you don't already know the plot to the game, I would suggest looking it up and become familiar with the plot, so we can make a proper script.

Re: The Legend of Zelda (A Revolutionary Scratch Movie)

A small kingdom in the land of Hyrule, is engulfed in chaos after an army led by Ganon invaded it and stole the Triforce of Power. In an attempt to prevent Ganon from acquiring the Triforce of Wisdom, another of the pieces, Princess Zelda splits it and hides the eight fragments in secret dungeons throughout the land. Before the princess is eventually kidnapped by Ganon, she commands her nursemaid Impa to find someone courageous enough to save the kingdom. While wandering the land, the old woman is surrounded by Ganon's henchmen, though a young boy named Link appears and rescues her. After hearing Impa's plea, he resolves to save Zelda and sets out to reassemble the scattered fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom, to become powerful enough to defeat Ganon.
