It's a robotics competition. My school is getting involved for the first time...anybody else ever heard of it or participated?

Yep! Our school's team participated in the FIRST Lego League competition. We got 10th out of 12, but oh well. 
Minecraft, Redwall, and Cyberchase fan, and PROUD.
