Yeah, there is probably some program out there that will do it.
I just don't know which one
What I really want is a files-only program for .jar to .exe

Jar and swf are completely different formats, because of this, no.

A .jar file is an archive file format typically used to aggregate many Java class files.
A .swf file is an Adobe Flash file format used for multimedia, vector graphics and ActionScript.

Nope. That's like trying to convert an mp3 to a pdf. Yeh'd have to rewrite the applet in Flash.
