age restrictions are protecting us. I never had a problem with that except in the video library, where you have to be 18 to enter without parents >

But they'd have to be a pretty bad guardian to do that. Considering some of the things mods have to deal with, most guardians wouldn't let their child be a mod at any age, let alone at an age where they're actually breaking the rules. Take the recent troll attack as an example; they wouldn't want their child to have to have the responsibility of cleaning that sort of stuff up anyway, but especially not when they're under 13.

I don't think so. I think older people (teens) are more trustworthy and most likely spam less than younger kids.

They may be more spamless but, there are many reasons for age restrictions other then spam.
For example, if a 4 foot teen were to go on a roller-coaster that you have to be 5 feet to ride, they would have the possibility of flying out. :p
