I have downloaded the scratch program onto my computer, and the images, sounds, and costumes are all there, but there is not file to open to actually create a scratch program. did i do something wrong, and how can i fix it?

If you are using WIndows:
Inside the folder where all the files were unpacked, there is a file called Scratch.exe. Just double click on it.
If you are using Mac OS:
the file is called simply Scratch

Hi tj1996,
Sometimes the entire package is not retrieved when trying to download Scratch. If you do not see Scratch.exe, I would try to re-download the entire package from the website again.

If the projects are bigger than 8MB it could be the size. If not, it could be the firewall. Do you know what firewall setup do you have?
