Scratch

I would like to be the curate because I have seen a lot of great project of racing, iPod, games, mario, minecraft, and bunch more.  I have gotten one of my projects remixed about 23 times I think.  Curate would be another step to my projects being popular (maybe).  Plus it would seem fun because the last curate (virtualclown) told me about being a curate and it seems exeting

I actually read the whole thing o_O. I thought It was a very good application, and just the fact that you took that much time to write it means you are dedicated enough to be a curator. Good job! You have my vote!

Also, the thing about 08jackt quitting in there, he did quit so you might wanna remove that.

I want to be one

This is my second request for becoming curator. I think I should become curator because I constantly see the new projects section. I also can tell if they spent more than an hour to make the game or animation good. I would curate games and animations. For the games I would curate ones that have good art, good gameplay, good concept, and are not just 30 seconds. For animations I would curate the ones with good art, ones that are longer than a minute, and spent time making actual animations. A project that I would curate is this one http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/darty11/2260853. It has good art, really good gameplay, a concept based on a video game and is an arcade game so you can play it again and again. I also will curate something with less than 30 views, 15 love-its, and the user that created the project wouldn't have any projects that have been front paged.

If so...
I would like to be a curator.
I would only pick projects that have less than 50 veiws and less than 10 love-its and they must be more than 4 weeks old-they must be good too.
I would rarely pick a project that breaks theese rules (even if they have 1000+ veiws but they must be totaly AMAZING like one of the best projects on scratch.

I hope i be curator next time

I would love to be curator 
I would try and curate projects by users who are newer, haven't gotten many views or that everyone will like. I will try to make projects  friendly to both younger and older scratchers and strive to make sure everyone sees some projects they like 
If I am not chosen as curator, I am fine and will keep trying for the position.

Hey Scratch Team! I'm reapplying to be curator in hopes that I might be chosen this time. I would write up a big long speech, but I've seen that that doesn't really help when I was browsing along this thread. So I'm going to try to be short, but I have a lot that I want to share.

1. The kinds of projects I like the best are games that show creativity and effort, and in particular I am fond of puzzle games but not ones that are too hard. I also like things that open up new ideas that have never been seen before.
2. The limits I would set on my curating would be under 60 views, and under 15 love-its, so that I would avoid picking projects that are going to be viewed a lot anyway's.
3. I am very active on the Scratch website and program, having posted almost 50 projects in only 5-ish months and having written out 1358 comments. Recently, I have also gotten involved with the forums and I am becoming active on their also.
4. If you look at my favorites, you will see projects that I really appreciate. A few are stupid, funny animations that just made me laugh, but most are good, challenging games that are deserving of more views.
5. Lasty, not to toot my own horn, but I am very helpful to anyone that comes to me with a problem and I am very nice and put lots of thoughts into my comments and suggestions for improvement. For example, on my project Marble Maze, I was very patient in answering everybody's questions and concerns, and I always took their advice for improvement.

This is why I would like to be curator. Thank you for considering, and if I am not chosen, could you please suggest to me what I might do better to become one? If it's too much trouble to do that, that's okay.

i would like to become a curator if i became one i would pick atleast one of every sort of project -----games, music ,art ,story,misc,and anything else i will post the less known and the more known mostly the less known to give them a chance to get known    i consider each scratch project equal and hope to help to give oppertiunty and help others find new intrest    --------gigpug

A curator is the person that manages the row on the scratch homepage that says "Projects chosen by *username*" This row is their three most recent favorites.

Unfortunately, you cannot become a curator until you are not a new scratcher. So keep scratching, and then you can apply!     

Also, this might not be the right place to ask a question like that, if you need any more info about the scratch site or program, ask on this thread.
