Re: Free Minecraft Server Hosting

the simple truth is that most server hosts are in the business for making money, not donating bandwidth. I remember seeing something about Treepuncher having a promotion of a free 2 slot server, but I can't find that anymore.

Re: Free Minecraft Server Hosting

If you look on the minecraft forums, some people appear to offer free hosting.

Maybe port-forward instead and connect to your's or your friend's IP directly instead of through Hamachi?

Would that mess up my internet or change any settings?

Re: Free Minecraft Server Hosting

Would it be that I had set the server port to 27789, not 25565?

BTW it was working fine on my PC, but my friends PC was new and all server actions were delayed about 30 seconds or more.

Re: Free Minecraft Server Hosting

Nobody is going to host a server for you for free, unless they're your friend or something. If you would actually look at the site linked on the last page, it does give step by step info on how to port forward...
