I need help big time!
Im trying to make a sprite movie on scratch. And the sprite sheet I'm using has a colored background and when I upload the sprite the background stays there and it looks really bad. Please! Is there a way I can get rid of It without having to cut the sprites out one by one?

Open up SCRATCH, go to the costumes tab, and hit 'edit' for the costume you want to edit.
Now, look at the bottom right hand corner. Do you see a strange checkerboard pattern? That's the fill in for empty spaces. Click the fill-in paint can, then click that pattern.
Then click on the background. Voila! That should get rid of the background color of the sprite image
