how to make background solid (OPTIONAL BUT SOMEWHAT IMPORTANT)

i am making a pokemon mystery dungeon game and i want some of the dungeons to have be solid so like when you cross a barrier you bounce back instead of bouncing back when you touch the outer layers of the background. I was also wondering if there were a way if i could randomize the dungeon back ground order so it looks like the dungeon keeps changing it's dungeons.

Re: how to make background solid (OPTIONAL BUT SOMEWHAT IMPORTANT)

This is simpler than I thought:
Use a sprite that will scroll around and stamp, make sure the color of it is used in NO other sprites and have it pass a test and if it passes, generate it as land, not a stamped version and use color sensing to tell when you hit a stamped version of the sprite. I hope that helped  smile

I'm afraid this belongs in All About Scratch - I'll move it for you.  smile
