The title says it all. Which one do you prefer?
Xbox is the best. Their games are better than Nintendo's too! They have better graphics and games! Mario isn't even that fun! In fact, I actually hate Mario (Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii is pretty cool, but the other Mario games get so boring).
People Who Think I am Crazy Because I Say Graphics Are Important:
I think the graphics are important because it would be so much more interesting to play a game with good graphics, then a game with 2D pixelated graphics. Right? You have to admit that's true. The first thing people see is the graphics. The graphics is the base of the game. People don't like Scratch's sprites because their graphics aren't good. Go ahead. Say I have a weird mind. I could really care less.
As for the people that support me, thank you. You are the real people that have the right taste.

The Wii was probably the best console at the time it came out, but it lacks the features the newer consoles have nowadays.
And the PS3 has below-average security, in my opinion.

Em wot
Xbox has better games than wii?
You mean more cutscenes/story and less gameplay?
Gameplay is the most important thing.
If you play a shooter, you most likely want to shoot things, not learn about the sometimes fictional history of said shooter's world/universe.
This is the logic nintendo uses, but substitute 'shoot' with 'platform' and et cetera.

XBOX is better.
Wii games are boring.
Nintendo does not recognize the need of teenagers.

I would say tie between Wii and Xbox. Xbox has much better graphics and online features, but most of the Wii's first-party games (aka the games Nintendo made) are just awesome. A game doesn't have to be a shoot-em-up to be awesome.
PS3 is overpriced and even though PSN is free, I wouldn't want to use if I can't trust it with my email address and passwords.

Except me and a gazillion others.
If a lot of people like the Wii, then how come Nintendo is making a successor that will fail?

Uhwhat
so you think that the same environment over and over with the same (however better) graphics shooting the same people is more fun then jumping around on enemies heads
have you even played mario
what about LoZ
and how do you know the successor will fail
if people like the wii
you're contradicting yourself!
and uh
GRAPHICS DON'T MATTER

Xbox Kinect is just a fancy copy of Wii Balance Board, Kinect is nothing. You saw how Project Natal failed. Nintendo for the win. Plus Xbox and Playstation have only one reason for me to play them. Cause they have all the good Sonic games!

Scuse me, I don't get updates from the * known as PS3 and Xbox 360. Plus, fancy story.
Sonic 2006, it was gonna be GREAT! But evil Microsoft and Sony pushed the release and wanted it done really fast. Sega listened and IT WAS THE MOST GLITCHY GAME EVER! Sony and Microsoft are impatient, thus leading to the destruction of there sales and criticism by the critics.

I like the Wii. It may not play host to the unoriganal shooters that spawn every year yet seem the same, nor have HD graphics. But what it did was:
Thanks to the Wii's MotionPlus add-on, it inspired Xbox to create Kinect and Playstation to create Move. Without, even the Wii Remote to create MotionPlus, you'd still be button bashing on your controller.
When I look at my nearest gaming store, around 90% of the PS3 and Xbox games aren't family games. The Wii has a whole bunch of games the whole family will enjoy! And don't worry, it still has it's fair share of shooters as well. (Silent Hill, Resident Evil, House of the Dead)
On the Xbox, you have to pay around 15 dollars (10 pounds) per month just to play with your friends. On the Wii and PS3, you can go online and play with your friends, just if you have a router. So for the best online experiance, they all have the same quality, but the best thing is that there is a chance to play online for free.
Miis. They are original and allow you to burst out your creativity! Nintendo hadn't heard of Xbox's Avatars, as Miis were a work in progress since the NES days! The great thing is that you can play as your Mii since they were created! Xbox only just started using them in games when Kinect was available.
Hey! See that collection of amazing Gamecube games that you loved to play, until you traded your Gamecube away for that bit extra to contribute for a game? No worry, you can play that game on the Wii in a single click! It's the same for the PS3, you can play PS2 and PS1 games on it too! Meanwhile for you Xbox 360 owners, prepare to splash out, you'll have to get a useless add-on which isn't needed to play your precious Xbox games. For shame.
Games are produced every single day! They are basicly a companies hard work put onto a disc. You may have to give in your pocket money but it lasts for a long time, if you don't scratch it or such. When I say pocket money, for a Xbox game, I'd say alot, same with a PS3 game. But a Wii game, you can find one for between 20 to 30 pounds (30 to 40 dollars, roughly)! You may have that bit less quality, but at least you can get more fo your money!
Last but not least, let's remember that Nintendo were the first to make a console that you could play on at home, or the NES. If Nintendo hadn't created the NES, we'd still be playing on arcade machines, wasting our precious money. The Wii's ancestor was what inspired Nintendo to make more of these popular consoles and Microsoft and Sony seeing the pontential in making a console themselves.
I prefer the Nintendo Wii for these reasons. But I respect your reasons and I don't want a flame war.
