Missing character

On this post of mine, I put :\. However, it came out as :, missing out the \. If you quote it, it proves that it's there, it just doesn't appear normally.
I think it's because it was part of a link to another page.

Yep, same here > :

It seems to accept the two characters ":\" as code.
