Yeah, my mom says it's not 'feminine' and will 'affect my opportunities in life' I was just like LOL. It's a hole punched in my skin. It's not cosmetic surgery. Would she rather I not get the piercings now and be happy or wait until we I'm 18 and go out, get all the piercings and tattoos and go back home looking like a freak? Wrapping kids in cotton wool only makes them want stuff more and make us more likely to rebel in other ways, IMO.

That's how I see it. I mean, I often put a navel bar in my lobe, and she doesn't even like THAT. >.> Meh.

My mam says "I will grow out of it and I'll end up with a big scar".  Erm, it's not like I don't have scars.  My cat bit my hand, and I have one where I literally "glomped" me, and almost hit my eye.  Also have a mark where I banged my head and split it open.

Or it remains open for when you want to put in an earring again xD I got a really bad infection in one ear, left out my earrings for a few years, but they didn't close up.

Eh, as long as it's not huge and your face matches it, why would it be a problem? You should try to find people who had it pierced who didn't think it hurt.

It would be tiny, and my best friend in real had it done and she didn't find it painful.  TDD said it's not sore either.
