Yeah, dentists. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, and I'm nervous. Not because I'm afraid of dentists (I actually enjoy feeling them clean my teeth), but because, if I have cavities, my parents will find out, and if they find out, I'll never hear the end of it.
Anyway, I have 3 questions I want you guys to answer:
1) Are you afraid of dentists?
2) Why or why not?
3) Which of the following best describes how clean you feel/know your teeth are:
3A) Very clean.
3B) In danger of cavities.
3C) 1-3 cavities.
3D) 4 or more cavities.

I'm not afraid of the dentist, but I'm always nervous about going. When I was little I had some really bad experiences- There was this one dentist that always pulled my mouth open really wide, and that was painful. (He had really big hands, which didn't help.) When I was little, I probably had about... 7 cavities, perhaps? My baby teeth were really soft. I had bad experiences with most of those. One time, the cavity was so bad that they had to cap it with a metal cap. Then they had to give me something that made me sleepy, and quite dizzy when I came home. And I fought with my mom because she wouldn't let me walk. I look back on that single memory of that day with shame- If only I had listened to her when she said she couldn't let me walk because of whatever they gave me. And then a much more recent time, one of my teeth got split in half and I had to have it pulled at the dentist's. The only problem there was that the stuff they gave me to numb me didn't have time to start working before they started yanking the tooth. It was painful! >3< Anyways, my mouth used to be mostly fillings and metal. Now that I've lost most of my teeth, however, I have much less metal and I intend to keep it that way. xD

2) See above.
3) Between a and b...almost never brush my teeth but they stay pretty clean.

My parents haven't been able to take us to a good one >.<
All the dentists we've tried to go to turned their backs on us >:U

I've never gotten any cavities, but I once had to have a tooth removed.

No matter how bad dentists are, and trust me, I don't enjoy going to them, they work to help us advance our dental hygiene for the better.

I haven't gone in a while but my bottom teeth are horrible..
They're really over crowded and crooked and my top teeth are worse. The two canine teeth have come down really high and the dentist said if I don't get braces they could stick out.
They said that I don't need them for medical reasons but for cosmetic. But my teeth are clean just really crooked ):

1) Are you afraid of dentists? Not scared of the dentist, cause they're usually nice, I just hate going to the dentist, in fact, when I hate something so much I can't think of a word to describe it I just say, "I hate ______ with the intensity of one thousand dentist appointments" Lol.
2) see above.
3) Very Clean
I hate cavities, after your mouth gets numbed you can't feel your tongue and I always chew on my tongue without knowing/feeling it. And then when it gets un-numbed every part of my mouth hurts because I chewed on them! >:-U

As they jam metal tools into my mouth, they always ask me questions. HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO ANSWER?!
