I have a project that I spent hours and hours on, but I cant post it because its too big. I know theres a 10 Megabite limit and all but the project is 68 Megabites and I dont know how to make it smaller. I dont know how to do this because i started it a while ago and i used to make broadcasts named after random letters- which means i cant make it smaller because i dont know what will happen if i remove broadcast Q or some other letter. I cant post it in in different parts either because nothing will make sense because i used random letters for the backrounds as well.

Compress sounds and images in the edit tab.
Use fewer sounds, and fewer images.
Also use sounds and images with smaller file sizes (use JPEGs, and compress them outside Scratch to keep quality but smaller file size), and use MP3s instead of WAVs, which are larger.

Woah, how did it get to be 68 megabytes?
Anyways, songs and sounds usually make your project a larger file. Maybe try deleting some if you have any. Also, when you click the "Share This Project Online..." button, make sure you check the "Compress sounds and images" box.

ok, you need to compress it. Go to Edit, then click Compress Images. It will give the choice how much you want the jpeg quality to be. Hopefully that will change it to 9.9 Megabytes, or you might also need to compress the sounds.

Can you give us more information? Broadcasts do not take up much space, it is mainly pictures and music. Does yours contain lots of pictures and music? If it does I suggest either getting rid of some, or making their quality worse (this decreases the size of the file). If you give me some more info I might be able to help you. You could also upload the file somewhere else so we could have a look at it.

Its like a computer- in the beginning it asks for your name, it says welcome and takes you to the desktop. at the desktop there are three buttons music, which takes you to a page with 5 songs on it- special thanks, where i put the names of the scratchers that i got stuff from. Then theres the scratchernet button where it takes you into a lookalike internet browser where you can make up to 10 accounts on a remix of facebook, watch two videos, and play two different games, with cheats for the games. Overall it is 80sumthing sprites and over 300 scripts.

Yeah...cut down on the sprites. They take up even more space than pictures and sounds.
This is one problem with OS's.
