Just update the images and colors to the latest version, and make a generator that actually shows the name of the variable (or whatever it is) in the proper format instead of just that plain text. Like lots of scratch, this system is fine, just needs work.

Try out the link from my post on the first page I think it's a good replacement of the blocks system, not even using images, and it should be rendering everything (except booleans maybe) properly soon.

Most people just randomly add them underneath them, and its annoying because its completely offtopic and slows the page down.
I completely agree with the suggestion to remove them.

The booleans don't work at all. Some render as reporters and some cause errors in the HTML, sending stuff everywhere (the latter being those with the ? in).
They rendwer as reporters -- I agree. But, that's how it must be.

Ok, I fixed the booleans messing up I think Now on to the list blocks...
I don't think I can fix booleans looking like reporters, because I can only create boxes or rounded boxes with HTML. the < and > edges are impossible to do I think But it wouldn't hurt would it?

I don't think it's impossible.
I'll get back to you when I find out an answer.

On the wiki, I wrote:
I think you could create booleans, if not perfectly, with an SVG image or the triangles, in different colors and positions. That way you could crop it with CSS, and also zoom it to be correct for nested booleans.

JSO's thing is in beta on the wiki, and it's really cool.

Perhaps we should just remove the colorful buttons that allow people to generate block BBC while leaving the actual BBC interpreter alone, so that old posts would still display block BBC.
This actually seems like the best solution to me. It keeps the old posts with blocks intact and allows more experienced users to use the blocks if need be, while also drawing attention away from the feature, preventing or at least significantly reducing block spam. Personally, I think the entire forum block system needs to be revamped, but this will do.
Yes, tottally agree - but don´t disable it completely. It is useful, and we can not upload images right now..
