I got some ideas:
(these are seperated into parts)
1. The maker of the project can decide if there project is copyright or creative commons. When downloading on a copyright project the person has to either verify by a hard captha or answer why they want to download and they have to be atleast 100 words long. either the scratch team or the owner checks the reason and reads it carefully. If it sounds to good to be true then you can either dont accept or add to ignore list. You know what happens if the owner ticks the creative commons box. Also this wont affect the motto but makes users aware of art theifs and trolls. Plus there is a box (comes with both copyright and commons) saying "click too see scripts" and if you click you can see all the scripts and it would be more easier to learn scripts. This is NOT locking downloads but makes people more aware of trolls and .etc. Plus there is also another box thats before sharing says "half copyrighted" meaning people can still download/remix but aslong as they give credit and they don't claim anything they don't own as they did it themselves. This is NOT locking downloads but rather more of something that stops trolls because sometimes people download/remix just to troll or flame and does not give credit and its very hard to stop these people. Plus if the owner still doesnt trust them they can add to the ignore list. Plus this can also help reduce spam projects and can still help people learn scripts!

Nice idea, but this has been declined. The Scratch Team doesn't want to decline remixing for any project, it's part of scratch culture. There is now copyright in the site, and there never will.

i support some bits and dont support others, i support whether to copyright or creative commons i dont support the half copyrighted idea, would take too much time and is not worth it

if you use a picture or a sound in a scratch project and put it on the website, anyone is allowed to use it. If you don't want someone to take it, don't put it in a scratch project.
