Messages

Instead of saying the total amount of messages, it should say something like:

1 new message

That way, you can be sure you didn't miss any messages. It's kind of like Gmail. Messages remain new until you open them. Then, all read messages will be deleted, making the server quicker. I hope you consider this idea.

Re: Messages

Just delete your messages once you've read them.  Bingo, problem solved.

Re: Messages

No, because sometimes I keep messages that I have to get back to, but didn't have the time right then.
If we could actually have a read/unread message thing, that would be great!

I know.  tongue  I sometimes keep a message for a week or two, while I'm still dealing with it. It's not me clogging up the servers.  tongue

Re: Messages

How about it says something like:
You have 200 messages. Five of these are unread.
And then if you click on the number of unread messages, it only shows messages you haven't opened. That way, you can have both the total number of messages, and the number of unread messages!  smile
And how would it work? Would it automatically be marked as "read" as soon you click it, or would there be an option, like "Mark this as read"?
