I was making a project that was an illusion. That part was fine. Then I hit "save", and did all that stuff. Then Scratch reported that the file was read-only. I clicked these in sequence after minimizing Scratch: My Computer, C:\, Program Files, Scratch, right-click on Projects, Properties, and sure enough, it was read-only. I un-checked the Read-Only box then I clicked: Apply, Ok, Ok, X, then I got Scratch running again. I attempted to save again, and it still said it was read-only. Help!
EDIT(later): I want to add that it "liked" the read-only version of the file. I opened the properties box , say, 5 times and it still was read-only even after I un-filled the box.

I get the problem, too, sometimes when I'm trying to save a project in which I opened it directly from the website. Did you try hitting 'Save as'? Try hitting 'Save as' and re-naming the project something different.

That usually happens when you use an outdated version of scratch

Good point. I am using 1.3.1, so it's not outdated. I think I hit save as, but I cant remember; it happened, like, 2 weeks ago.
