It really is. It's hilarious, almost, how fast people and places and things change. And when you're part of this change, you don't even notice its happening. It's not like you wake up one day and everything you've ever known is completely backwards, it happens little by little. But when things change little by little for a long time, they end up far off from where they started. But, still, when you're watching it firsthand from your front row seats, the events and huge changes flow bit by bit before your eyes. You know what happened- You saw it. You know how it got to be how it's gotten to be, and you may have even forgotten what it was like in the first place.
It's sort of like a soccer game. Yeah, like a soccer game. Lets say you and your friends go to a soccer game. At the beginning, the Fuchsia team has a great start. They're beating Aqua 6-2. Then one of your friends gets up to go buy a pretzel. Well, the pretzel line was longer than he foresaw, and he ended up getting caught in the pretzel line until half time. He returns to his seat, only to be shocked as he reads the score is now 6-38, with the Aqua team winning viciously. He's pretty shocked. No one else really is, though, because they saw everything unfold and understand how it got to be that way.
Oh, and some of the friends decided mid-game that they hated soccer and left. And one of the remaining friends who stayed now speak solely in verse, and another solely in "gansta-rap." Some of them now hate his guts and refuse to acknowledge him, while others decide now he was the greatest thing ever before he left to get his pretzel and worship the ground he walks on. But new people moved down to the seats of the friends who left prematurely, and they have no idea who he is at all, though they befriended his friends during the first half of the soccer game while he was away, and no one's really making an effort to introduce them.
My point is, a lot of things have changed. I'm kind of like the guy who left to get the pretzel during the soccer game we call Scratch, after having not been here for almost eight months. I'm probably hopelessly beyond repair when it comes to adapting to being thrown into a, pretty much, brand new community in Scratch. Being unbanned was nice, but I hadn't realised how differently I now see this place, and how different this place now is.
I'm pretty different now, too, though. I hang out with a completely different crowd nowadays (Real life and interet-wise) and have a nice new set of morals. It's kind of hard to watch people change sometimes, and I'm not really willing to change for anyone else's sake (esp in situations like these) so I think it's safe to say I'm, for the most part, done for now here.
I don't really aim to be missed, since I'm already sort of less-than-remembered, but I honestly hope you have a fun time changing!
I know I did.
Sincerely,
ruffiebee !
PS, you can discuss changes. Fast ones, long ones, whatever

Did you even read the post?
She didn't say "Everyone's quitting! I must leave to be cool!" likes everyone else is saying, but had a long post about how everything's changed and stuff.

._. But it's obviously the quitting fad that brought this on, even thought she has a different reason for leaving.
