Hi, Zippzom.
Sorry you were having problems uploading.
Our server was having some problems yesterday due to heavy traffic. Could you try again and let us know if you have problems (and what error you get, if any).

I'm having exactly the same problem.

ClintSwagger, make sure your project is not bigger than 8MB. Adding sounds and images tends to make projects really big. If you do, please go to Extras and compress them, that helps sometimes.

Hi Andres,
My scratch project is 2.3 Mb so I don't think its a size issue. I'm trying to upload from the UK but that should have no bearing either. Could it be a login issue? I can login successfully onto the website. Any help woud be appreciated. Thanks.

Try uploading a small test project (with just the default). If it still doesn't work then it is probably not the file size. It is possible that your firewall or proxy is not letting Scratch send the file. Do you think you might be behind a firewall or a proxy?

I discovered the server was configured to accept a maximum of 2MB! My mistake. I have upped the limit to 10MB hopefully that will fix the problem.
Scratch on!

I tried several times, even with a small test project, but upload isn't working for me...
I get stuck in the "connecting to scratch.mit.edu" phase.
I also had twice a message saying "primitive failed" but that was probably due to connection problems.

stacheco: Where are you connected from? Home, school, office? Who is your internet provider? Do you think you might be behind a firewall? If so, could you manually open all connections to scratch.mit.edu?

I was connected from home ... I think the problem was that we were trying to upload it from my son's Vista profile; when I copied his project to my desktop and uploaded it from my profile, it worked immediately.
