She does, but I read her books in second grade and discussed with my brother about how awful the plots were.
I remember nothing about the TV Kid, but the Cartoonist was the worst book I have ever read. The Cartoonist was about a guy (I think his name was Alfie), who drew terribly un-funny comic strips up in his attic. When he found out his brother was coming back from war and had to take the attic, he locked himself up there for a week or two. Horrible, horrible book.
