As if you don't have enough conflict about design going around, I made a logo, just for fun. http://i42.tinypic.com/2urweuh.png (Yeah I know I spelt coco incorrectly. XD) 100% Blender. Stupid compression. I spent forever on smoke simulation, and you can't see a thing. *sigh* I'm going to try rendering again.

Whoa there! Why'd you just copy my my idea of placing the text on the walls, table and floor??? And still, it has that same white text, blurry background, and I can say not much effort went into it as it's just a picture taken by you. I spent hours drawing mine on SketchUp...

Whoa there. No one intended offense. But instead of clinging to your position like fg is trying to snatch it away from you, why not try to work together?
To address your first comment, fg had a question mark at the end of "I'll try and make it look nicer?". Generally, that symbolizes a request for permission. Second, effort is no judge of quality. Why, I could spend decades working on a movie and still not have it look like Hollywood quality. Besides, it's irrational to base your complaint of plagiarism on white text and a blurred background. The Scratch community guidelines read:
All projects shared on the Scratch website, as well as the Scratch support materials, are shared under the Creative Commons license...
That means that at some point your work would have been his to remix anyway.
When designer made the comment about your work, it was not immediately apparent that fg's had been acknowledged, so his further inquiry was perfectly valid. By the way, Webs IS pure HTML, so saying that you can do more with it is not exactly true.
I recommend the two of you find a compromise.

I said, in my post, that it was a remix of yours, so calm down. And what's wrong with White Clear text, on a blurry background. It gives it a foreground background perspective, rather than having the user focus on the whole image. As for the effort remark: True, I didn't spend that much time on mine, because hours wasn't needed to get the desired effect I wanted on mine. I never said it was a problem about her liking yours, I just queried about the fact that she didn't acknowledge mine, like shadow said. I never said I was trying out for Graphic designer post. I just felt like yours could be improved and I took a shot at it. If you don't like it, tell me why, and give me constructive criticism. I respect your post as graphic designer, I just think I could help and maybe do better. Webs is a web builder to help and aid people who can't build pure HTML and CSS websites. If you doubt my skill, go ahead and ask shadow_7283. I've worked with him for about a year. Who said we were paying for a domain name?
For all you know, I could be paying for a domain name right now to help promote us, and you'll just be shooting me down.
And did you even see Shadow's design? That sir, is good 3D modeling.

True, true. But that still doesn't answer my query about why it shouldn't be the same as the guitarist's post or any other post in this band. It just doesn't make sense. I gladly joined the band a few days ago like any other post in this team and in no time I am being 'challenged' by two others. I know you don't mean anything bad, but being a member of the band, I ought to be able to remain as the Graphic Designer like any other member would, unless I'm proved extremely unworthy of being a designer. And I know for one that my art work is far from rubbish (I'm not saying that you ever said it was rubbish).
Also, Shadow did his work on Blender and I did my art on SketchUp. They are two different programs for a different outlook to a 3D drawing. I am absolutely capable in Blender as well. I did not use it here because I didn't think it suited the idea I had in mind.
And please, don't waste your time doing a website in HTML. I am also good at HTML, so your comment saying Webs is designed for people who can't build pure HTML sites is invalid. You seem to be challenging my idea of a new website and my artwork as well. Sorry, but it just seems like that. You have shot two of my recent ideas and I can't help but feel opposed. Webs has much better features. For example, I bet that you can't create forums or a blog spot by purely using HTML. It has subscriber widgets and much more features of help to the band.
I honestly don't see why you are only trying to improve what I have created. Why not apply for a musical post. You obviously know how to play an instrument as shown on your cover, right? So sir, please reconsider what I have said and do not solely target my work. And Shadow, I hope I have clarified myself.

Definitively needs more clarity, it's a bit hard to look at. I'd like this one better than fg123, if it weren't for the apparent low quality of the image.

Of course that's not the way it works out with the instruments, we're the band. It wouldn't be the same if we keep changing people in the band itself. Though particularly with graphics, it's not as much of a problem, bands aren't often identified by the art style of whoever designs their album covers. They do convince people to listen to an album, and they often identify it, but the music itself is always the most memorable.
Shadow is pretty right on this imo, you could see if you worked together. I'd like to remind you the cover for WIBY was actually made by shiguy101 and you improved it - both were credited on Bandcamp and Soundcloud.
Perhaps have fg123 design mostly web stuff while you dedicate to designing album/single covers. fg123 clearly has more experience in web design, I've seen his work before. Like shadow also pointed out, creating a blog or a decent website from scratch wouldn't be too hard for him.
The other thing is that though it might be too late to incorporate more musicians to the band, we've found decent graphic designers fairly recently, if I recall DIY started making graphics for the band less than a month ago - I had to make to cover of My Voice to You myself. There's still time to change. But for now, I say fg123 should concentrate on web design while you concentrate on album covers, logos and the such.
On a side note, Shadow's work looks pretty good too, it might not fit the general artwork style we have so far though.

What you say is right, but do you mean to say that my hours spent on the website development is gone to nothing? Besides, I doubt he can make a members area unlike in Webs.
I'd like to remind you that creating a website in Webs and HTML are two different skills. I am personally very experienced in using both. However much effort goes into it, it is hard to replicate the fantastic widgets that can be found on Webs through HTML.
Since designer45 also seemed to like it, I propose we keep mine as the official and tell fg123 to add his website as a detailed subsidiary of this site.
P.S. My picture is supposed to look blurry as all the objects seem to 'blend in' more with the environment that way. If you want to sharpen it, go ahead.

And DIY, I'm perfectly capable of getting a forum system off the internet, like Scratch. I can make a members area, I can make a blog, I can even make a forum system if I felt like it.

Point being, the two of you obviously want to put your best work into this, which is great. I think the only fair compromise at this point is you handle most of the artwork, and fg handles the web design.
Incidentally, with your permission, of course, I can really improve your image with a simple Blender Render. Let me know.

Yes, but my website was accepted by the band members and I'm quite sad to see it go down to nothing. I do not like the idea.
About your Blender Render, could you elaborate a bit more on what you plan to do? I'm not sure a Blender graphic will blend in well with a SketchUp graphic...
