FIRST OF ALL, this is a real story, as Animeboy975 would tell you.
Okay, so yesterday I went to Northgate Mall. I've been here before, and it was full of life, and excitement. Now, it was dying. There was no life or excitement, as the storeowners and shoppers gave the mall a zombie-like mood. No one was happy, even though there were after-Christmas sales everywhere. On the carousel, which was once so popular you had to wait in line for 10 minutes, there was only 1 child. Everyone was so sad, many shops were closed (we even saw one shop getting its nametag taken off), and coupled in with the possibility of the Sears closing, this was a dying mall.
A mall 15 miles away is sucking the life out of this one. Southpoint Mall on the other side of town has everything Northgate doesn't, and more! With a much happier atmosphere, more stores, and life, Southpoint is taking the customers from Northgate. Northgate now is dying, it's stores being replaced with arcades and cheap discount stores, as well as brief startups. Pretty soon, the once amazing mall filled with a carousel and life, will die.
What do you think?

What/where is Northgate?
I know in our city they built two malls right downtown as a way of revitalizing the downtown core, which was crumbling (literally) because nobody went there anymore. Well, the one mall is now an office building; the other mall is still sort of alive, although there's only a handful of shops in there and there's NEVER anyone there... Obviously, their strategy didn't work and now we're left with a ton of buildings and nothing to do with them.

There was a mall I went to in Florida, all the stores were vacant except for maybe 5. There were no stores to go to, but there was a karate class going on in some dojo there, so I just sat and watched it.

There's a mall like that near me. It had a bunch of places that are out of business now, so not a lot of people go there for the few stores that are left. Plus the two other malls/big shopping centers in my area get a TON of people.
