Even the food kind of Spam is bad!!! Spam is no good!!!
They have different ways to prevent Spam, which are the 180 second rule for New Scratchers, and the 60 second rule for Scratchers.

Sage, in chan boards, is used to indicate that a post won't "bump" the thread back up to the top of the list. That, however, is not used in FluxBB forums and isn't relevant here. While excessive bumping is considered spam, it's okay if it's only done a couple times per day.
