That's a shame, it is a correct plural of forum. I guess some things won't change
If it's the correct plural, why is the button at the top of the page called "Forums" and not "Fora" then?

It is a correct plural form, but I still don't like it. It's pretentious.
Also you didn't put it in the main post. I suspect selective discrimination.

Same, and the result is exactly how they wanted it to be, probably. >.<

I like the fact that it serves as a space to find info on a problem, as well as a space to ask for help.
I'm not a big fan of spammish stuff (such as meme comments or quote trains) that don't really invite discussion, that stuff just makes it harder to read through a thread and very rarely do those things contribute to a thread overall.

I dislike Scratch time and the loss of img tags.
I like misc, since it acts as a sort of relax from scratch, and also can be quite useful for things outside of scratch.
I also like the community, except most of the "cool" ones. They're almost worshipped by people wanting to be like them and they tend to insult a fair bit.

I +1 all of these below
We like:
Interacting with the community [4]
Learning new and interesting things [1]
We dislike:
"Scratch time" rather than local time [4]
"2cool4rules" - people misusing the fora [3]
spam preventatives that inconvenience the innocent (e.g. no img tag) [2]
--
I also +1 cheddar's 'a space to find help and info on a problem'
--
To add my own (possibly), I like to be able to have friendly and open discussions of sometimes controversial problems, with the idea that I know I can just leave it and start afresh if something goes wrong. Of course, it's never happened before because the community is so helpful

Again, people, sparks is more looking for likes and dislikes of the forum system itself rather than the community and its users.

I mentioned above, everyone, that I'm looking for positives and negatives about the current fora's features more than the current fora's user-base
Anyway, since I'm here, I may as well put my two cents in. I dislike the forum blocks (which are ancient, though I understand the Scratch Team not updating them) and the fact that there's no Preview button on the quick reply box. I also would rather the new posts that I read be marked read as I do so.

I put three, silly. Look closer, 1 sentence ≠ 1 dislike
Okay, so "two cents" may have been a little misleading.

And I dislike the sixty second rule. Which is attacking me as I speak

It bothers me when it links to YouTube repeat. Can we just have embeds for videos, or quiettube?
And it bothers me when it auto corrects all captials into Text That Looks Like This. It's not pretty.
And I'd like a wider selection of smiles, and the ability to disable smiles in ALL of my posts, not just one.

1. we'd have to talk to the mode and ST about this one...
2.OK we'll bear it in mind
3. what other smiles do you want?

For no img tags, add me to the vote.
Add me also to "Interactive with the community" in the likes.

I dislike the fact that there is no way to appreciate posts that users have done. That's why I made my like button system a while back.

Scratch time? I like the sound of that. I was un-aware it existed.

I'd just like a large selection of emoticons, y'know?
