3D Maze Explorer

http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Mayhem/22959

This 3d maze exploration simulation uses a combination of sprites to create an appropriate 3d first person view based on a markers position on a 2d map of the maze.

This means the maze can be added to or changed by anybody, without requiring any extra scripting!

As a result, it's a much more complex maze than that presented in the 2 player game.

I'm currently writing some simple RPG style combat rules, and hope to combine these with the maze so that there are monsters to track down and fight, and treasure to be found.

Re: 3D Maze Explorer

I've added a goblin and a knight that wander randomly about the maze, though as yet you can't actually interact with them.

Re: 3D Maze Explorer

That's really cool! I like how it uses the 2D maze for sensing, and it kind of gives you a map of where you are. Great Project!
