Erm...

I've started getting these "episodes".

Sometimes I'm hyper, so hyper I break stuff and I can't stop moving.  Other times I get really depressed and I can't stop crying.  And other times I'm normal.  When this happens, I feel... Strange, like I'm not myself.

Also, you know I'm creative... And for the past few days, no, two weeks, I've been... Depressed.  Crying.  And I feel like I've lost everything, like I can no longer draw.

Then about three weeks ago, I was uncontrollably hyper. I was yelling, destructive, and I stopped eating and sleeping to continue drawing or writing.  I don't sleep a lot anyway.

However, my mam is worried, since I'm eating and sleeping less, and then I sleepmore suddenly.  I feel... Different.  I feel really strange right now.  Trapped, if you wish.

Do you think I could be bi-polar?

Re: Erm...

Sounds like it.

EDIT: It's not rapid-cycling, though; that's good. Instead it seems you have the opposite: week-long "episodes" of mania or depression, punctuated by periods of "normalcy".

Yawn, another boring text signature. I should really make something better.

It's been happening in the Summer D: I'd be calm, the. Hyper, then depressed, and now it's getting worse.  I feel rotten 0.e

It usually lasts weeks.  I can get hyper then depressed, but only if something tragic happens.  I go hyper again then suddenly.

Re: Erm...

Bipolar was the first thing that came to my mind... You should have it checked out by a professional.

Good point... They're not usually that extreme, though.

How old are you?

13. :B none of my friends run around throwing stuff, and a week later try self harm.  Bipolar usually appears early-mid teens >.< Which is why it could be it.  All of my friends think I'm slightly... Mad.

Maybe, but I'm confused.

Re: Erm...

It certainly sounds like it. If you're mentally powerful enough, you can break through quite a few of these phases, if not all. Just concentrate on controlling yourself. And remember that we're all your friends here, so you can always ask our advice and we will accompany you.  smile

Thank you c: whenever I go depressed, I ask myself why, and I can't find a reasonable explanation.  I'll start to feel better for a while then.  Though when I go hyper, I pretty much go mad.  Nobody can calm me.  Sometimes I say funny things, but my friends told me I tend to annoy everyone.  Nothing can go wrong, until I do something REALLY stupid.  Sometimes I get cheeky, and I've got in trouble for it  hmm  then, when I calm down a bit, I realise how stupid I was.

It could be bi-polarism. Though it could just be because you're... Uh... Entering "those years".
I'm sort of the same, like really hyper and then depressed, but nowhere near as severe as you.
I'd recommend asking your mum or dad to take you to the doctors, so you can have an expert's opinion  smile

I've been in "those years" for a while, and I never went like this.

I've a phobia of doctors.  Even though I've an interest in medicine, I will probably end up a science teacher or something.  XD

I hate doctors too, but I still went to find out whether I had a suspected condition. It's a great feeling knowing there's a reason for doing the stuff you do.

I know, but I haven't told my mam yet what I think is the cause.  I'm just going to wait for a while, see what I go like.  Also get advice from my friends who see me at my worst.
