Throw your PC away and buy a Mac.
Actually, there's a current uprising of Mac viruses, and because of how Apple refuses to give anyone access to the files it works on, most of the viruses are un-removable and make your Mac unusable. And if this message scared you into getting a Mac antivirus, Mac Defender is a trojan. The Mac-virus-makers are clever. Also, if memory serves, Macs are also PCs. Also, I find that Macs are slow, inefficient, and Lion is just full of bugs.
I applaude you sir.

Try the Norton 360 30-Day free trial here. Norton is a really good program.

Try Avast! Free. Seems pretty good and does the job.
However, can you give me the name of the virus/trojan and I will give you recovery steps.
DO THIS THOUGH:
Back up your files onto a disk/usb stick. DO NOT COPY ANYTHING ELSE
ONLY BACK UP:
Documents
Music
Pictures
Anywhere else could be infected. However, you will most likely wish to save those 3 folders.

I got rid of three files already that contained the trojan Now lets track down the rest!
You must look up how to destroy the rootkit. The rootkit is the thing that came in a perfectly innocent file that is legitimate, but was an extra snippet of code that inserted the trojan into your system. IF you recently downloaded a file, DO NOT OPEN IT. At all. Because it most likely will bind it to System32 in which you may have to get a computer technician to restore your registry, since deleting a file in System32 can be dangerous. Wait, three files? CALL A COMPUTER GEEK NOW— TECHNICIANS ARE OVERRATED. YOU HAVE BEEN MASS INFECTED!
BTW, was it alureon trojan? I need the name.
