Yes it is. In fact where I live it's more common then with the wheel. Brand new too.
EDIT: or some Wiiware games (Mario 64, OoT, Majoras Mask, and Starfox 64)

Honestly, they're both really good games. Mario Kart Wii brings a brand new way to race, while the Super Mario Galaxy series is the epic sequel to super mario 64.

I'd say Mario Kart Wii, but that is just my opinion.
Why? Mario Kart games cleverly combine Mario elements such as items, character and courses with classic racing mechanics.
