Kind of off topic, but I downloaded scratch in 2007, but I got my account in 2009  smile

Edit: My mistake; my first scratch project was made on May 1st, 2009 after all.

i have been scratching since scratch 6th jan 2007 but didn't make an account until '09

I downloaded it in 2007, but only made an account this year. I don't like this idea. I mean, people who just found this site later than others get less features/whatever? Besides, what would you give them?

Kind of makes us, well, "New Scratchers" feel left out.
I mean, come on, just because somebody has been here for awhile they get something that new users don't get, just because they stuck along with the site?
That doesn't really make any sense, and it kind of makes me feel that I'm not important.
We're all the same, no matter how long we've been on the site  hmm

I don't see why people should be awarded because they found Scratch earlier, they should be awarded for things like reporting a lot of topics which were against the rules.

I disagree. If this happens, lots of people will start to envy those who joined the cummunity in 2007. Then people who joined later would get upset and would start another round of people quitting.

I disagree too. My father is a psychologist, and I guess some of his knowledge rubbed off on me. Doing this will make New Scratchers, and even Scratchers who see this title envious.

That would be unfair.  Like the Scratch 2.0 alpha distribution  lol .

If you are having trouble with simple counting, use the following mnemonic device: 1 comes before 2 comes before 5,280 comes before 523,860,759 comes after the square root of -153 comes before π. This will make your previous counting problems seem like no big deal.

No.

1. 08ers like myself will want something too, which will make 09ers want something, and then 10ers and 11ers will too.

2. I actually started scratch in late 07 or early 08, but I didn't make an acc until late 08, and then I had enough of my username and switched accs in 2010. I'm sure lots of users have had a similar experience.

This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

ive been using scratch sence 2007 i didnt have an acct but i cant proove i did tht is why i disagree with this idea it treats some better thn others
