Not haunt like a ghost, but like, does it get to you a little? Does it seem weird?
The piano solo at the beginning and the eerie vocals give me shivers sometimes...

This song is called Fiction.

Just spare 5 minutes and listen to the lyrics towards the end; about leaving his friends and such. It makes me so sad D:

But this song probably seems a little weird, or even boring if you don't know the story behind it.

This song was originally titles 'Death', and was written by Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan. He was drummer in the band. The Rev wrote this song for the album Nightmare, and completed it himself. He sings, drums, and plays piano in this song. The vocals are slightly warped-sounding at the start, mainly because the recording was dodgy so Avenged Sevenfold's singer M Shadows added his own vocals on top afterwards.

Two days after The Rev handed in the song to the band, he died. Yes, on the 28/12/09 Jimmy died. Exactly 2 years ago :'C
The lyrics suddenly seem more meaningful after his death...
If you're wondering, The Rev had an enlarged heart and was expected to live to 30, but before he died he had a lot of alcohol; and the chemicals in the drink mixed with his medication & killed him. He was 28 years old.
It's like The Rev's final goodbye or something o:

Plus, the song is beautiful :'D

It is creepy, it's the final track on Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold~

If you're wondering, The Rev had an enlarged heart and was expected to live to 30, but before he died he had a lot of alcohol; and the chemicals in the drink mixed with his medication & killed him. He was 28 years old.
