I was wondering if there was a way if i could convert a scratch game into a .ds and upload it to an sd card and play it on my new dsi

I know of no way. You can turn it into an .exe and if you know a converter for .exe to .ds then you can do that.

I used to work in Go Everywhere. The mission is to be able to take scratch on all devices. They are making tremendous achievements. You can see the Official Topic here. However, since Scratch 2.0 is coming out soon, and it is based on Flash Player, there is a bleak chance the Go Everywhere will continue. Why? because flash has been discontinued for mobile devices. You might want to join.
This could help you to convert your .sb's to scratch.

You can't put scratch on your SD card and put it into your DSI because the program wouldn't recognize scratch and it would't show up, but I think you can put scratch on a r4, m3, or other cards and it would work as long as you didn't get the latest security update on your DSI the latest update is 3.4.

You can get the Squeak VM for DS but Scratch will only run on the original DS I think... not the DSi.
