Re: popularity in real life

I'm very awkward in real life. I hang out with the nerds. You wouldn't like me. I'm considering getting a shirt with my logo on it.

"I'm kinda nerd"?  What?  It would be "I'm kinda a nerd."

Re: popularity in real life

Eh, my brother's a nerd (I'm sort of too). When I want to get on his nerves I call him a geek
(*gasp*). And does it matter if you're grammatically correct if the word you're using is slang? I mean seriously.

On topic... The 'popular' boys at my school all sit in a group, and do whatever they can to break the rules. They yell, ride those cargo holders, jump on tables, break tables, (this is everyday)...

There's another type of popular boys at my school. The ones that fit the definition popular (which is well known). They are either the talkative people, or people who are awesome at something at show it at lunch.

Me... well, I don't know how but the first few days of school, I knew no one. Then I started hanging out with these two kids. Then I started sitting with what came to be my best friend. Then he left and a new one came... It's a long story...
All in all, by just sitting down at a table, I am known by about 4 fifteenths of my grade. Which is 80 out of 300. I did all of that by sitting down at a table.

Speaking from above, the 'popular' boys... nobody really know who they are. They just know the faces to stay away from them.

You were telling me how "kinda a" doesn't fit, and I was simply proving how it does.

umm no
it still doesnt fit
you cant use kinda in this sentence
youve gotta say kind of or it sounds akward
i mean, read it aloud
"kinda a"
it just doesnt sound right

"I'm kinda a nerd" sounds perfectly fine to me.

Now YOU read aloud the sentence "I am kinda a nerd" then read aloud the sentence "I'm kinda nerd".

i GUESS if you say a long "a" it wont sound AS akward but either way its an akward phrase youre using

I say "a" like "uh".  It still doesn't sound awkward to me at all.

Ok, but use it in a few sentences or it won't make any sense.

And you've been spelling "awkward" wrong this whole time.

Re: popularity in real life

Sometimes I'm a shadow... other times I'm the most popular guy... then other times I'm a nerd...

Usually I'm a shadow.

Like a ninja, only better. XD

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

Re: popularity in real life

I'm kind of popular irl, but there is one guy who basically has no friends. Everybody tries Ti stay away from him. I used to feel bad for him, but not anymore since he started behaving so weirdly.
