Re: Seeking Advanced Scratch Developers for Large-Scale Project

this belongs in Collaboration. Also, why would LLC want Scratch developers? It's not even a real language.

Re: Seeking Advanced Scratch Developers for Large-Scale Project

Maybe you could explain more about the project?  Scratch is an educational language, not usually considered for production-quality software.  Perhaps the book you mentioned is an educational textbook?

Would help, but I don't think many of us have degrees in computer science, most of us are still 18 or less.

Re: Seeking Advanced Scratch Developers for Large-Scale Project

#samtwheels - Thanks for the suggestion.  It's actually a for-hire request, so I've decided to put it in requests since I'm not seeking what one would consider a traditional Scratch collaboration.  An LLC is interested because they're looking to hire people who are both excellent programmers and highly proficient with Scratch.

#Paddle2See - Yes, the book in question is an educational book.  This request comes from someone with extensive (5+ years) Scratch experience, so I know that, while Scratch isn't considered 'production-quality' software, it is being implemented as such for this solution.  It makes sense within the scope of the project.

#Lellowsfuzz - Please visit my web-site (cameronfadjo.com) and send me an email with your resume and a brief description of your experience.

#16Skittles - I knew it would be a challenge to find Scratchers with a B.S. in comp sic (since many Scratchers are not necessarily of college age), but I wanted to get this call out to the community through the normal channels.

Scratch On!
