Re: Take a photo of your computer setup

The desktop:
Connector cables everywhere
Last Sunday's comics
My camera
An obscure magazine
Two notebooks covered by the comics, hidden from sight
Mom's reading glasses shunted to one side
My glasses on top of the comics and some plastic wrap
One giant prize capsule, empty
A scrap of paper lying off to one side, with a lot of phone numbers written on it
A recorder, buried between broken headphones and cords
Some Christmas house hinged box
A combination lock atop a scrap of plastic that once kept Post-Its safe
A sheet of paper with decodings written all over it
Two audio thingies, one in use
One book (used to be three)
Three used tissues (I've been sick)
A printed out receipt
A school paper of my sister's
A rack with papers, unneatly arranged
A lone sock and a pink jacket on the ground

...Okay, this list makes it seem even messier than it really is
I should start cleaning

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

You probably wouldn't like it
It's for writers 8 - 12
I don't like a lot of the stories in there, but I wanted to get something in the $40...I never won, despite the consideration letter, which is just as well, because the story sucked

My computer setup, minus the computer [/fail]
http://oi44.tinypic.com/azihhf.jpg
Well, in my defense, the desk I'm sitting at now is the family's, so a lot of the junk isn't mine and I wouldn't want to post that
So I posted my computer setup (where the laptop usually is--only it isn't in this photo)
I didn't feel like taking another picture with the laptop in
And the laptop is incredibly old

That's my computer, and the room is pretty much a soft brown chair, a sand-colored rug, and a brown table where the charger sits.  neutral
Also my Companion Cube, who I will now reference to as Barnaby, sits on the table.

EDIT: Anyone telling me to throw it away and get a PC/Linux/whatever should leave the thread.

Re: Take a photo of your computer setup

Right now? This is my holiday placement...
http://imgpaste.com/Cle4.jpg

Back home I've got a 3meter wide desk with a laptop, a netbook and a desktop. I've also got a steering wheel branched to the desktop and a full flight simulator yoke+pedals on the other side.

In all that there's place for an extra monitor (for the laptop), writing space, a router, a lamp, a joystick, an external floppy+500gb drive, and a cable dump.

In my room alone I have 26 electrical sockets.

__
By the way, the computer in the pic is not my laptop. It's my dad's.

Re: Take a photo of your computer setup

Mine is just a dumb Dell laptop on my bed.
Yeah, I use my laptop on my bed.
And it's a Dell.
There are a lot better Windows computer companies out there.
(and, if you wanna tell me to get a Linux/Mac/anything else, well, DON'T)

Let's see... you're a girl, named alison, who lives in the US, wears glasses, with a last name of an estimated 5/6 letters.
