Thrust

<when green flag clicked>
Check it out. I'm quite pleased with it so far.

I'm going to make it a bit more of a game over the next few weeks. It's a bit too hard at the moment but that's better than too easy.

Comments, construtive or otherwise welcome.

Green flag to start.
Must be run in the flash player.

Half remembered game from the BBC Micro. Early stages yet but the physics (while not completely realistic) feels good.

KEYS:

Thrust: UP
Rotate: LEFT/RIGHT
Fire: SPACE
Don't Touch: DOWN

Re: Thrust

A new version uploaded tonight.

Almost a complete game now: Take the bomb to the bottom of the cave; drop it in the lava and get out before the lava catches you.

If anyone manages to complete it please let me know.

At the moment there is only one level. If anyone fancys editing the background1 and background2 costumes and posting a remix I'd like to see it. The costumes for fallingBG1 and fallingBG2 need to be duplicates of the backgrounds.

I've fiddled with the physics a bit so the bomb feels heavier which makes it more interesting. Unfortunately it also makes it a bit harder.
