In an Uno game I'm making, it involves using lots of lists to shuffle the cards etc.. I was doing it fine, until all of a sudden, I couldn't select any drop-down menus! When I clicked on the black triangle to select a variable, nothing happened.
I realise that this isn't that clear, so I mean I couldn't change the variable in this:
It was just all the variables this was happening to; it worked fine with lists.
So, why did this happen?!

Save it, restart scratch, If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer.

It's working now
I just closed the program and reopened it. I still have no clue why it did that though.

Ya, there are a lot of problems like that.
All you usually have to do is restart scratch. You should probably try that before you post a topic.

Thats weird. Sometimes if I'm working on a long Scratch project, when I hit the green flag it plays the sounds all distorted.

I pretty much knew for certain that it would work, but the reason I created this topic wasn't to get help on how to fix it, but basically asking why it did that.

Were you working on a project with long scripts?
Sort of. It wasn't as long as some scripts in other projects though, which worked fine.
