Beta

People say their projects as ____ Beta. What does Beta even mean?

Re: Beta

It means it's not the finished version. People normally upload betas so people can report any glitches before the finished version is released. This means the finished project will be glitch free.

Re: Beta

A preliminary version which still has some bugs.
Basically, it goes: demo/pre-alpha (first, most bugs; where Scratch 2.0 is), alpha (fewer bugs, still some improvements can come), beta (fewer bugs, almost ready for full release)
Some go further, like gamma and delta.

EDIT: Outposted.

Re: Beta

Beta means a program/game is still being worked on such as adding updates, fixing glitches etc.

So say a game is called <Name> Beta 0.1, that means that it is still being worked on.
