This glitch seems to happen to a lot of people. This topic should be able to help you.

Check to make sure that cookies are enabled in your browser. If your browser can't keep the login cookie for Scratch, then it will appear as though you get logged out a bunch.
Sometimes it's a good idea to install a new browser if the old one is messed up. Firefox or Chrome work well.
Help Scratchers make the leap to 2.0!
