theres already a thread for this sort of thing
instead of copying the link to it i just copied my post on it, however
I found myself being spoiled with my own cash in some hipster record store in Brooklyn last weekend. I think I bought myself half of the albums I had on my Christmas list (And then some) but Santa probably wouldn't have been hip enough to find them anyway, with a complete list of my purchases being as follows:
Realism by The Magnetic Fields
Hail To The Thief by Radiohead
Last Splash by the Breeders
The Coast Is Never Clear by Beulah
Flood by They Might Be Giants
A Fever You Can't Sweat Out by Panic! At The Disco
Coquelicot Asleep In The Poppies by of Montreal
Good News For People Who Love Mad News by Modest Mouse
i by The Magnetic Fields
Dusk At Cubist Castle by The Olivia Tremor Control
Yoko by Beulah
Pet Your Friends by Dishwalla
Doolittle by The Pixies
Further Down The Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Adore by Smashing Pumpkins
Mark The Album by Frente!
On Avery Island by Neutral Milk Hotel
The Spice Girl's Greatest Hits
... That last one was for a friend I swear
The girl working at the record store gave me Richard D. James by Aphex Twin because she was feeling generous, I'd just bought 60 bucks of albums, she noted I had excellent taste in music, and we struck up a nice conversation about some indie bands
i went back and got the link though

Why...
Why would you get Christmas presents EARLY?
EDIT: Sorry for the negativity, I'm in a bad mood.

My family used to open one gift on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas *shrug*
We don't do that anymore, though
