Are kids shows turning into garbage?

I remember when I'd come home and watch Ed Edd n' Eddy and Johnny Bravo. Now we've got CN Real and all this other junk. Do you think that kids shows are turning into garbage?

No way are kids shows turning into garbage!

They were garbage to begin with.

Yes. See Dragon Ball Z Kai for example.

Yeah, CN used to be good but now... they aren't really doing cartoons... AND THEIR NAME SAYS ITS ABOUT CARTOONS.

Re: Are kids shows turning into garbage?

Johnny Bravo and Ed, Edd, n Eddy weren't even that good
I liked them when they were cool, but looking back at them now they're sort of gross and redundant

I loved the cul-de-sac sort of show though, like EEE, with a whole little cartoon community of well-developed characters

Sorta like Hey Arnold and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends

@redrocker227: Yeah, but they were GOOD garbage.
@nightmarescratcher: Exactly.
@Daroach1: Yeah, I know!
@puppetadventurer: I didn't know that more of these topics existed...
@schnrfl: Which ones?
@Medic: Yup, that's pretty much what it's turned into.
@rufflebee: FHFIM was a great show.

I know, right? The Frieza getting in cut scene was cotton wool.

And the voice acting is adequate.

I loved the specials for EEE. Like the Halloween special and the Xmas special.

Ugh. I hate this because now people think all cartoons are bad. They pass up TRULY great shows like like Fullmetal Alchemist and MLP.

Those are exceptions. Most are terrible. Also, they are talking about children's shows, and Fullmetal Alchemist airs (aired?) on Adult Swim.

I loved Foster's home, as soon as I heard the same person who directed it also directed MLP:FIM Season 1 I rushed over to watch.

I'm talking about how people assume all cartoons are for children.
