What do I do about mean comments?
I got two comments on a project of mine. I flagged the comments and deleted the project. Should I have not deleted the project?
They were telling me things like: “What is this rubbish? No offence”
And “Are you kidding me? A kid could do this!” I didn’t answer them and just flagged them.
"A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.”
I just wanna say... SCRATCH IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!

There was no need to delete the whole project; on your own projects, you can delete just the comments.

You don't need to delete your whole project. If you really feel strongly, you can delete the comment. I suggest just not replying, they are trying to make you mad, and if you show that you are mad, then they'll keep acting disrespectful to you.

I looked at your projects. They aren't rubbish. You're pretty good for someone who's only been here for 2 months!

There's no need to delete an entire project, just flag the bad comments, and, if needed, make use of the ignore list (you can access this from your userpage) so the users don't come back and post more bad comments on your project.
I encourage you to reupload the project again, and just continue flagging bad comments whenever you see them.

Honestly, how can people say "It's rubbish" and then say "No offence". Of course they mean offense, they're insulting you!!!

I live by the philosophy of don't feed to trolls. Overfeed them. Not many people agree with it but it works.
When I say that, I don't mean fling brainless insults back at them, but pick away at the insult with logic
