The curator and SDS curator jobs are very different. A curator has the option to choose any project they want that fits the guidelines and display three on the homepage. An SDS curator adds any project that meets the guidelines and the requirements of the gallery. It does not matter if the project is made by a new scratcher, a scratcher that has been here for a year or even a scratcher that has been here since 2007. It does not matter if the project is good or bad. As long as it reaches all the rules and guidelines, add it.

I thought that needed more explanantion too.       

Yeah. But what if someone just uploaded the Scratch Cat with one script that does nothing?

If it fits, you add it.

Let's say It's Halloween and the Scratch cat is Recolored to look Like a Mummy and all it does is play "This is Halloween". If It's Halloween-ish, It Fits. If it fits, It ships!

So, an SDS curator is more like a moderator? So its more SDS moderator, seeing that projects fit the guidelines?

No, there were not moderators.
We just add projects that people want added. I think of it as more of a community service position than, rather than a "police" job.

It's fun, though.

Steve, I'll try giving you a break by adding some projects now. The only problem is Scratch is running REALLY slow for me. It takes like 5 minutes for it to load anything on the main site    5 minutes to press the SDS gallery, 5 minutes to load the project, 10 minutes to get the list of galleries and finally, 5 minutes to wait for the project to be added. That's why I have been going so slowly and that's why I have like 6 tabs of Scratch open right now    I'll slowly get this all done.

It's fine, the new curator will have lots of energy and fast Internet speed.

My internet is fine    I have other sites open, just it's going super slow.

1. Scratchers Apply here
2. Current curators (like me and JJ) tell Lightnin our first and second choice out of those who applied
3. Lightnin makes the final decision and posts it here
4. Curator is trained by Me and the other curators
5. And they all lived happily ever after.
