Both. I grew up with both. 

Well, Sony made Playstation because of Nintendo.


You see, Nintendo wanted to make a CD addon for the SNES to compete with the Sega CD. The first hired Sony, as they helped them previously with the SNES's sound chips. Soon, Nintendo realized that, with the way it was set up, Sony would get the majority of game profits. As they kept trying to sort things out, they secretly had talks with Phillips for their help. Sony left after realizing this, going on to make it's own console (the Playstation). Later, Nintendo cut the deal with Phillips when they saw the Sega CD's failure. Not wanting to make the same mistakes, they pulled the plug on the project. As compensation, Nintendo gave Phillips the licenses to five characters (Mario, Luigi, Link, Zelda, and Ganon), which would lead to the birth of the now infamous Hotel Mario and Zelda CD-i games. Nintendo, still wanting to slip in, asked Sony to make an SNES cartridge slot between "Play" and "Station" on the logo. It didn't work, but the capitalization remained. This is why the brand is stylized as "PlayStation".

Graphics don't make a game.
I like them both about equal, though at the moment I'm digging Nintendo.

Nintendo. PlayStation sucks horribly. NO GOOD GAMES!!!!! Microsoft is second, but is WAY far behind Nintendo.

Playstation, am I seriously the only one who supports it?

Nintendo. Purely because they invented Mario.
