I get that message when I try to run the scratchapplet--any ideas--I have the newest Java installed

Could you post more information about your system: browser version, OS version, Java version, hardware of your machine (including graphics card). Also, could you post the output of the Java console?

I get the message too, but I don't know all the stuff I have to tell you. I am using a Imation
jump drive, and can't save the file. Answer ASAP. I need it by tomorrow morning! Please help! PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE!

Sorry to hear you are having troubles.
What are you doing when you get the error message? Are you running the Scratch program? Doing something on the web site? Trying to save the file?
Is the error message the "fatal exception"? or is it saying something else?
Is this a Mac or a PC?
