Jesus Christ Superstar - a musical!
Have y'all seen/heard Jesus Christ Superstar? I love the soundtrack. I'm going to watch iit today!
It's about the last few days of Jesus.
Please don't mistake this for a religious topic

I've never seen it or heard it, but I see vinyl copies of the soundtrack every single time I go to any thrift store, so that doesn't give me a very good feeling.

It doesn't have to be a religious topic unless somebody decides to take it in that direction. There are many other aspects that could be discussed, such as the music, the costumes, etc. It looks to me like this was intended to be a discussion of the music.
I happen to like a lot of the music myself - my favorites are "Everything's Alright" and "Hossana".

lol, the entire film is centered around the exploitation of a religion.
As controversial as the film and tracks are, it's pretty much inevitable for this topic to bring in a lot of heat.

Well, I know you are Jewish, but to Christians, he is the messiah. He was killed on a cross with a crown of thorns on his head. He rose from the dead and told his 12 disciples to spread the Christian religion and then he flew up to the heavens to come back.
