Discuss LGBT people that you know!
Noone that I know really well is (well, apart from me ), but there's this girl two years above me at my school who's a lesbian.

Aw, that's terrible! I don't think I'd be able to live with the shame if I was the guy filming.

Yeah... and I wouldn't film it in the first place if I were him. I mean really, some people just take LGBTs like us improperly and try to exploit us just to annoy us.

Yep. And the way LGBTs are perceived by most people is annoying as well. They don't realise that our sexual attraction is the only thing different about us, and that we're just like normal people on the outside.

Exactly. "Normal" people just hate people with different sexual attractions. It's sad D,:, Have you noticed how most people use "gay" and "lesbian" as insults too? I also happen to be the only one in my class who knows what everything in the acronym means, sadly. The boys are severely concealed and have an insane idea of lesbian, no one except me has even heard bisexual or transsexual, which proves people are also too ignorant to learn what they mean. Even sadder. (what the boys think lesbian is is a party with a bunch of men dressed up as fat women, sadly)

That's just sad. Although Transsexual aren't exactly normal on the outside.

Yeah, it makes me so angry when people use it as an insult! Whenever people call me gay as an insult, I wanna shout back at them: "Bisexual actually, and is there a problem with that?". But the lesbian at my school who I mentioned earlier gets bullied every day for it, so I think it's best for me to just not tell anyone at the moment :'(

They were just born that way, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Yeah, I say "Well, logically, it is also possible this "subject" is bisexual, which I bet you are too knucklehead to figure out" because they do stuff like "if you [blah blah blah] you are gay". Very annoying. And blah blah blah was to censor something inappropriate, which I know I cant say on scratch.

This ticks me off--
Lunchtime discussion at my school, some seventh graders who will remain anonymous:
Kid 1: LOL, look, it's So-and-so.
Kid 2: He's so gay.
Kid 1: No, he's not, bi
Kid 2: LOL
Kid 1: Hahhahahahaha
Quite literally their conversation, except "LOL" is actual laughing

And very true. I hate when people use the word ''gay" offensively. >:!

I used to be bullied over everything everyday
they laughed at me and call me gay
but that didn't work, I just laughed
hopefully then, they knew not to step in my path
to the homophobics, I say screw you punk
read my rights and stuff, it's all junk
Basically, laugh at their ignorance, they hate on us because they don't actually know anything about it. It all comes from medieval britain where women would clean, cook and look after the children while the men would fight, hunt and kill, if a man was seen doing a woman's duties he'd be laughed at and his sexual orientation would be questioned. Same goes with MLP too, because before it was aimed at girls people now think any male who watches it must be gay, it's sad and funny at the same time.

I'd like to say something about LGBT's (or anyone really) committing suicide because of bullying.
Aren't you just letting the bullies win? They're trying to get you angry, and if you commit suicide, it's worked. How about you learn to defend yourself against them, or just ignore it.

I guess I've read through this thread now and I guess I might aswell say I'm bisexual. I've had 3 GFs and 1 BF. I did a class presentation on the misconceptions of being homosexual. So nerve racking..! People said I was brave and I got support I get the p**s taken out of me alot for being me but you get used to it after a while.
I always thought that there would be more 100% either side than 50-50. (I like men more though)
Maybe some people are just unsure but to be honest it doesn't matter what you love but who you love.
Also just be careful. You don't want yourself getting in to a mess and don't instantly stick a label on yourself. It's taken me 2 years to finally settle. I have been out for two years too. I came out that I liked men so that I could be comfortable and be able to express myself with no hidings so that I could settle. It's still embarissing when my Mum asks me what I think of a hot guy.
